As nations around the globe rise to the challenges presented by COVID-19, we at Stratedigm are working to do our share and contribute to the collective efforts to bring the pandemic under control. From the beginning of the shelter-in-place order, we extended our service hours to 7 days a week, from 5AM to 8PM PST, in order to lend a helping hand to our customers worldwide who are working on breakthrough scientific solutions.
Since the start of our new program on March 20th, we were able to help our customers across the globe maintain 100% functionality of our S1000 Cytometers and A600 High-Throughput Auto Sampler under warranty or service contract. Most of these cases we solved remotely in 30 minutes or less. For full automation systems operating around the clock with our A700 and A710 hotels, we have addressed all service issues in record time. Unlike any case we’ve experienced over the past decade, we encountered a downed automation system, but were able to resolve it completely in only five days from initial diagnosis, through kitting and verifying service parts, having service engineer on-site, and to final resolution and validation. Our industrial IoT (IIoT) technology played a crucial role—it allowed us to quickly focus on this urgent issue and fully determine what required repair prior to a service engineer arriving on site to fix the unit in a single visit. Stratedigm’s time-tested IIoT service model paired with our robust flow cytometers and automation keeps demonstrating its reliability day after day even in the toughest of conditions, particularly when compared to a service system that requires frequent on-site visits for problem resolution.
